Having Aria point to my tummy and go, brother?
We have been trying to teach Aria that she is going to have a little brother soon.
Spenser and I will point to my tummy and say, that's baby brother.
Well, a few days ago, she came up to me and was saying, brother? Brother?
I responded with, Where is brother?
She, in her innocence, pointed to well... a little higher than where brother was.
Bless her heart.
She loves to come to my tummy and pat it and go, brother, brother.
I am really hoping that her and Izen {that's the little guys name, at least we are pretty sure} get along and form a good relationship right off the bat . It's my hope that they will play together, trust each other, laugh contagiously together, and create the best of memories.
Life is pretty tough, but with a sibling, things are so much more fun and light-hearted.
It's my prayer that my two sweet children are best friends.
So hopefully with Aria identifying brother early on, and learning to love him already,
that bond can be there.
