Weekend Wrap- Up: Glanbia Picnic and Sticky Bubbles

Spens works for Glanbia.
They make cheeeeeese. Anybody who knows me, knows that cheese is one of Michaela's three staple food groups.
What are the other two, you might ask??
Chocolate and Tacos (yes, that's it's own food group).
Come on.

Spenser's company makes cheese. Glorious cheese!! He brings home cheese, we eat cheese, we are happy. It's one of the perks for a man who knows his dairy. Not only does Glanbia make the BEST cheese (no bias here- they really do make cheese that's award worthy. It's better than Tillamok. Serious), but the company is amazing! They work their employees hard, but they reward them, generously. This particular weekend, they held a company picnic.

They had 5 bounce houses,
a rock climbing wall,
a cotton candy and snow cone machine,
and Enough hotdogs and hamburgers to set some records.

It was a teensy bit warm though. So after an hour we split.
I'd say the kids had a grand ol time! However, the grin on our adult mugs, might suggest we had more fun.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sunday's are only complete, when a dinner with friends, is involved.
It's one of those things that our family cherishes.

The Wights were kind, and carb loaded our bellies with some authentic Italian pasta.
Then we inhaled way too many chocolate chip cookies.
Then, the men and the wee ones blew some stack-able bubbles, and shot a few hoops.

The ladies stayed inside,
because we are ladies.
Just kidding.
In reality, my dear friend is quite preggers, and I am convinced that this ridiculous end-of-the-world heat, will kill her off. I really saved her life by requesting we stay indoors. Your welcome, Charity ;)
